I've just started reading Keller's 'The Reason for God'. He begins by making some very good observations about how society is becoming both less religious and more religious at the same time. That people are polarising and the logical conclusion is that this means the battle over truth will get more intense rather than less. My question is whether that is true everywhere, I know among my friends that actually belief in God is common but faith that makes a difference is not.
Keller's plea to have reasoned dialogue, for Christians to engage with their doubts and the doubts of others and discover God's answers to them is one we need. I'm sure I'll post more from this book as I read it through, I'd recommend you get hold of a copy.
