Out with the New and in with the Old

I'm very good at reading new books, I tend to follow what is being published and when. But I have been struck recently that I'm not very good at reading the old.

This week I'm endeavouring to read Foxes book of Martyrs. It has been refreshing to read of men and women who knew what we were thinking about yesterday, that Jesus delivers and who put their faith in him as they faced death and finished the race. It has been a great encouragement too as I have been trying to pray for those in India facing persecution, threats and even death.
