Teaching one another

We were having a discussion last week about the role of teaching doctrine, not just to children but to adults in our church too.  I grew up in a church where we were taught the Westminster shorter catechism, it was helpful and many of the answer I can still instinctively remember now.  We then chatted about whether there was a need for something similar today and concluded that there was but that there was nothing around that grabbed us as an easy tool for parents or churches to use.

I was then very excited to come across this which has just been launched its produced by Tim Keller and Sam Shammas and is called the new city catechism.  There are 52 questions and answers, one for each week of the year.  I've listened to the first couple and think it has great promise in teaching both adults and children in our churches.
