Some of you will have noticed that I have deactivated my facebook account a month ago and I have to say I am not missing it at all. I rarely used it and think it has become a massive distraction for people, it also deceives us in terms of what friendship is and sucks time which could be invested in developing face-to-face relationships with real friends.
I found this video quite amusing on the subject, it clearly shows what a distraction it can be.
